During his address, the leader of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance coalition, Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, elicited chants from the audience when he stated that the Chair of Governors cordially welcomed him to the event, which is a clear indication of their respect for the leaders who fought for devolution.
He disclosed that the Mount Kenya region and other communities are flourishing as a result of rural development initiatives initiated by the devolution government.
He made it plain that changes were necessary. He implored all the leaders to embrace unity and engage in a battle to reach the highest level of trade so that they could embrace high revenue income to transform the lives of the people. He stated that they will continue to consolidate their supporters in order to fight for the country and good Leadership reforms, and because of this, their Movement for democracy will be oriented throughout the entire nation.
