Citizen TV Swahili news anchor Mashirima Kapombe is mourning the loss of her mother.
Mashirima Kapombe shared the devastating news on via her social media platforms on Thursday, September 26.
“Broken. Eternal rest grant unto mum Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she Rest in peace. Amen,” Kapombe wrote on Facebook.
However, the journalist did not disclose the cause of the death of her mother.
Her colleagues and Kenyans flooded her with heartwarming messages of support and comfort as she mourned the devastating loss.
