Ivy Chelimo, the young woman who went viral after renaming the vice president Riggy G, has broken her silence after a man accused her of abandoning him shortly after being identified by Rigathi Gachagua and gaining renown.
With the assistance of her parents, Alvan Kirui Jnr. raised eyebrows on Tuesday when he claimed that the new celebrity in town deserted him when she became renowned. The man uploaded a photo of Ivy on social media, stating that it was the nicest photo he had ever taken of her and that it was unwise for her to leave him at his lowest point. In his statement, he also wanted Ivy to understand how far they had gone before she became famous.
The allegations surfaced a day after Ivy Chelimo landed a job given to her by the vice president. In response, the woman said she didn’t know a man named Alvin Kirui and warned netizens not to be blackmailed by him because he’s out there trying to get power by using her name.
