Content creator Chebet Ronoh has shared that she is now eight months alcohol-free and spoke about the change in her life.
She shared a post on Instagram on Sunday, March 1, 2026, saying the moment made her emotional as she looked at the work she had done on herself.
“I literally cried in my chats with @queen_london_mnot believing how much work I’ve put in,” she said as she reflected on the change.
She said she could not believe it was her making such a difference in her life.
“I just couldn’t believe it was me making such a difference in my life,” she said.
She added that the journey was hard and personal.
“I deadass pulled myself out of the trenches,” she said as she spoke about how she changed.
She said she did not have many people around her at that time.
“I had no one at all but God and family,” she said.
She added that looking back at the journey now makes her see the progress she has made.
“And now see mahn,” she said as she spoke about where she is today.
Her past struggle with alcohol
Ronoh has spoken before about how alcohol affects her behaviour. In August 2025, she explained that alcohol brings out a version of herself that she does not recognise or like. She said that when she is sober, she is calm and avoids conflict.
“The sober me is so chill, so cool, and I never have issues,” she said.
She added that drinking changes her completely.

“But when I get drunk, I do not know why, but I become very aggressive,” she said.
She explained that she becomes confrontational and emotional.
“I become confrontational and emotional, and I do not like that version of myself at all,” she said.
She said she feels she cannot control that version of herself when drunk.
“I do not think I can control it,” she said.
She shared these details during an interview with King Kalala and Frankie Justgymit.
She explained that before she committed to being sober, alcohol made her more emotional than usual.
