The Jamhuri Day theme integrates wildlife and heritage, emphasizing that safeguarding Kenya’s natural assets is a strategic economic investment that supports communities across all 47 counties and reinforces national identity.
The national holiday will provide an opportunity for President William Ruto to introduce and initiate significant new policies and innovations aimed at transforming the sector.
For instance, this will include the rollout of the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system.
Additionally, President Ruto is set to introduce a virtual exhibition platform designed to digitally highlight Kenyan products and tourist destinations at Nyayo Stadium.
