A woman from Kibera, Nairobi, has made an emotional appeal to well-wishers to help her husband receive medical treatment after he allegedly swallowed a nail while at work.
In a video shared online, the woman said her husband accidentally swallowed the nail while working. She explained that he is currently in severe pain and, according to her, is unable to swallow anything at the moment because of the discomfort.
The woman appeared distressed as she narrated the family’s struggle to get medical assistance for her husband.
She said they had tried seeking help from different offices and political leaders, including Members of Parliament, but had not managed to secure the assistance they needed.
She has now shared their situation online, hoping to reach people who may be in a position to support the family as they seek treatment for the man.
