The individuals who were suspected to have made a film by the name “Blood Parliament’ were arrested in the late night hours yesterday.
However, the film makers were released today. According to the report made by NTV Kenya on their social media platform, Nicholas Gichuki, Brian Adagala, MarkDenver Karubiu and Chris Wamae were released on late Saturday morning after a follow-up with the Law Society of Kenya lawyers.
LSK lawyer, Ian Mutiso confirmed the incidence release and confirmed to the members of the public that none of the arrested individuals was harmed.
However, Mutiso claimed that the DCI officers and the police never gave any comprehensive report on the arrest of the four individuals and the law that they probably broke prior to their detaining.
Mutiso claimed that he and other lawyers will follow up on the matter to ensure that the rights of the four members are not infringed.
