Bishops have now ganged up against President Ruto following the increased cost of living and the increased charges of government services.
According to the report, the Bishops have accused the President of failing to reduce the cost of living as he promised a move that they have decried have left many suffering. They have also claimed that the increased charges of the government services like the marriage certificate will discourage many from marrying in a godly way, they additionally stated that this will lead in increased immorality and encourage LGBTQ especially from the young generation.
“As a church we buy marriage books at Shs 25,000 from the government so that we can register new marriages, charging people much more it will discourage the young people from marrying in a godly way which in return increase LGBTQ and sexual immortality,” one of the Bishop said.
