Kimani Ichungwah on 18th September evening made a major announcement revealing top stakeholders who will appear before the national dialogue committee.
Speaking as relayed by a report covered on Star Kenya, the national dialogue committee co-chair revealed that IEBC selection panel, IEBC Secretariat and working group on two thirds gender rule will on Friday appear before the committee.
“On Friday, some identified stakeholders will appear before us for 20 minutes each,” he said.
According to his statement, the group is expected to give an insight about the current situation of IEBC commission following the retirement of former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati and a section of Commissioners.
It should be noted that the national dialogue committee is seeking to find a permanent solution to problems facing ordinary Kenyans.
However speaking days ago, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s leaders led by former prime minister Raila Odinga threatened to resume mass action demonstrations should the ongoing talks between his camp and Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza fail.
Embakasi East member of parliament Hon Babu Owino however challenged Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s dialogue team to leave talks accusing Kenya Kwanza government of intimidating kenyans over rising cost of living among other things.
On the other side, president William Ruto is being pressurized to sack Trade cabinet secretary Moses Kuria and Energy David Chirchi. Economic advisor David Ndii is also being targeted over Controversial Statements on fuel prices.
