Betty Kyallo has once again stirred conversation online, this time all the way from China.
The media personality, known for her bold fashion and confident presence, shared a photo of herself dressed in a traditional Chinese royal outfit.
Alongside the photo, she posted a caption that immediately got Kenyans talking.
“Malkia mia fil mia, wambeya mpoo?? 😂 Elegance in Motion. She’s A Queen. A 10/10 out of 10,” she wrote. “Wearing a gorgeous ancient Chinese costume that is not only very very beautiful but also worn by royalty. Like the Queen I am.”
Fans were quick to react—some with praise, others with jokes, and a few with criticism. Many loved the outfit and her confident attitude.
One person commented, “Nice dress indeed mrembz,” while another said, “Unakaa princess wa movie za China.”
Others cheered her on with messages like, “Very gorgeous 🥰” and “Kabakie huko huko mtoto wa Kikenya kang’aa sana.”
As always, Kenyan humour came through strongly. Some users kept the mood light, echoing her energy with playful responses like “Tupooooooo.”
One joked, “Sasa huyu ndio mama miiilka ule mwalimu aliimba,” referencing a popular Kenyan meme.
Another cheeky comment read, “Imebaki sasa you fly kama wao,” clearly enjoying the royal theme.
Still, not everyone was impressed. A few people questioned her choice of words in the caption.
“You should wait to be praised, not to praise yourself,” one user commented.
Another added, “Now this is not the Betty I used to admire early then… though the dress pretty.”
There were also repeated comments about her makeup, with more than one person saying, “Ulisahau makeups.”
Betty is currently in China alongside comedian Mulamwah and other Kenyan entertainers.
