Renowned media personality Betty Kyalo has attracted the attention of social media users after she confessed that it was her father that introduced her to alcohol. Speaking during their family Reality Show dubbed the Kyallo Kulture, the former K24 news anchor revealed that she got her first sip of alcohol from her father.
The mother of one was narrating how life took a sudden turn after his father left the country for greener pastures. According to Betty Kyallo, she enjoys a close relationship with her dad and that’s how she ended up getting that first sip of alcohol from him. Ever since then, the bubbly business lady has been taking alcohol and does not find it to be a big deal.
“My dad gave me my first sip of alcohol. We have a cordial relationship,” Betty Kyallo stated.
When her father left the country, life was tough forcing Betty Kyallo to stand up and take care of her young sister Gloria Kyallo. She explained that in some instances, she would double up as her mother and provide for her whenever necessary. She, however, added jokingly that in most of the cases her younger sister would need her on matters that involved finances.
“The part that I play as Gloria’s mum comes when it’s about money,” Betty Kyalo noted during the show.
Betty Kyallo and her two sisters have risen to not only become successful but also one of the most followed celebrity families. They enjoy a close relationship with their mother and always share videos and photos of her on their social media pages. Betty Kyallo has worked for some of the top media companies in the country including KTN and K24.
