Bahati, a Kenyan artist, talked to fans about why his wife, Diana Marua, hasn’t said anything about some claims a woman made online that everyone’s talking about.
He said in a recent online chat that he knows everyone’s looking at these claims, but he thinks you don’t have to answer everything right away. He said Diana’s quiet because she doesn’t want to give rumors more attention by responding to them, not because she’s scared.
Bahati said his wife knows what it’s like being in the spotlight and has learned to keep her cool by ignoring stuff she doesn’t think is worth it. He said they’re paying attention to their family and what they’re working on, not getting into online fights that could make things worse.
He also said that social media can blow up fake stories, and it’s hard for famous people to control what’s being said once things get started. So, he said they usually think about whether speaking up will help or hurt before they do anything.
