Outspoken Kenyan lawyer and political activist Dr. Miguna Miguna has once again taken to X (formerly Twitter) with fiery words, calling for the immediate arrest and punishment of what he calls “30 Enemies of the People of Kenya.”
In his post dated June 25, 2025, Miguna listed a range of high-profile political figures — past and present — accusing them of betraying the people through corruption, impunity, and abuse of power.
Leading the list is President William Ruto, whom Miguna calls a “Tyrant,” followed by former President Uhuru Kenyatta and longtime opposition leader Raila Odinga, labelled a “Despot” and “Conman” respectively.
Miguna claims that these three have formed a toxic political triangle that has impoverished Kenyans, sold out national interests, and manipulated ethnic divisions for personal gain.
Miguna’s list doesn’t stop at top politicians. It includes security bosses, former intelligence heads, Cabinet Secretaries, State House operatives, and even media-influential lawmakers like Kimani Ichung’wa, Sylvanus Osoro, and Ndindi Nyoro.
According to him, they are all “agents of tyranny” who should be held accountable for orchestrating violence, economic sabotage, and eroding constitutional values.
In typical Miguna fashion, he doesn’t mince words.
He says the “handshake cartels,” “UDA thieves,” and “deep state puppets” must all face justice — not tomorrow, but today. “Arrest them. Prosecute them. Punish them.
The people are watching,” he posted alongside the list.
His call reflects growing frustration among Kenyans, especially the youth, over the rising cost of living, government waste, and growing inequality.
While Miguna’s remarks have stirred debate online — with both praise and criticism flooding in — one thing is clear: the fight against corruption and political betrayal in Kenya is far from over.
Whether or not action will be taken on his fiery call remains to be seen, but it has certainly reignited the national conversation around accountability, justice, and leadership.
