Multiple Grammy winner and Beninese singe, Angelique Kidjo has won the Best Global Music Album award at the 64th Grammys.
While receiving the award, she thanked Nigertian artistes Burna Boy, Yemi Alade and Mr. Eazi, who featured in the album.
Angélique‘s fifth Grammy award album ‘Mother Nature’ was produced by Kel P of (Burna Boy), James Poyser of The Roots, Vtek, Rexxie, Synematik, Blue Lab Beats, -M-, Brad Thomas Ackley, David Donatien and Dany Synthé.
South African Black Coffee won the Best Dance/Electronic Album award for his seventh studio album, Subconsciously.
It is the first time a SA artist has won a Grammy in this category. He thanked God for the gift of music.
