Angelina Jolie the famous Hollywood actress has reportedly sold her Los Angeles mansion for KSh 3.2 billion as she prepares to move and begin a new chapter in her life.
The award-winning actress known for her roles in several popular movies has attracted attention after news of the expensive property sale emerged. Jolie has been one of Hollywood’s most recognised stars for many years and her personal life and major decisions often attract public interest.

The property has a long history and was once owned by famous Hollywood filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille.
Jolie bought the mansion in 2017 for approximately $24.5 million (about KSh 3.16 billion). Reports published on September 24 2026 indicate that she has now sold it for $24.75 million equivalent to approximately KSh 3.2 billion.
The property has six bedrooms and ten bathrooms. It also has spacious gardens a swimming pool a guest house and other luxurious features. The mansion was built in 1913 and is considered an important part of Hollywood’s history.
Jolie has previously spoken about her desire to leave Los Angeles and spend more time outside the United States.For several years she remained in Los Angeles because of arrangements involving her six children and her former husband actor Brad Pitt.
The former couple finalised their divorce settlement in December 2024 after a lengthy legal process. Their youngest children twins Knox and Vivienne turned 18 in July 2026.With her children now adults Jolie has greater freedom to decide where she wants to live.
The actress has a strong connection to Cambodia where she adopted her eldest son Maddox. She has previously expressed her love for the country and has a home there.According to reports Jolie plans to spend more time in Cambodia visit her children in different places and continue her international work including activities connected to her foundation.
