In a recent and provocative interview with Utata Entertainment, the controversial media personality Andrew Kibe stirred up heated debate with his bold statements on gender roles and modern-day relationships.

Kibe, who is known for holding unconventional stances and criticisms, said that, in motherhood and rearing children, a woman ought to give birth and raise the children naturally.

According to him, a woman who cannot have a child is “useless.”

Kibe has written that there shouldn’t be any mention of women’s financial independence, where women should get all their sources of income solely from men.

He added, “If your girlfriend is earning, she cannot be yours,” which he used to explain that getting an outside job while in a relationship hampers the true partnership.

He pushed an assertion that “Equal is a scam,” to dismiss gender equality.

He stressed that they should keep the roles as they have been: women should give birth and rear, while men should create and provide.

Looking back, Kibe said that he had lived with his mother even after crossing the 30-year mark, which decision now is deemed by him as a wise one.

He also accepted that his ambitious dreams of knowing more about self-discovery were not fulfilled in a marriage that lasted for four years, leading him to break it.

Such out-spoken opinions have sparked debate and uproar among critics on all platforms while leaving the public divided on whether those statements are true or false.

The interview has always been riddled with shadows of modern relationships, gender issues, and traditional roles.

Wajiro Andrew Kibe’s remarks still touch on contemporary society, continuing to raise questions regarding partnership, thereby inciting criticism.
