Kenyan content creator Ruth K has left fans deeply concerned after sharing a heartbreaking update about what her young son is going through, weeks after her highly publicised breakup with comedian Mulamwah.
In an emotional Instagram post, Ruth revealed that her son, Oyando Junior alias Kalamua has been crying non stop for almost eight days, with no eating and no sleep, a situation she described as the toughest season of her life.
She disclosed that despite visiting some of the best hospitals in Nairobi, doctors have not found any illness, leaving her confused and broken as a mother.
“This video is just a percentage of what we have been going through,” Ruth wrote, admitting that 2025 ended in sadness and 2026 has begun with the same heavy mood.
The post quickly attracted massive attention, with thousands of Kenyans flooding her comments section. Some sent prayers and encouragement, saying they could feel her pain as a parent.
Others offered advice based on personal experiences, while a section of netizens sparked debate online by suggesting cultural explanations, comments that also drew mixed reactions.
Public figures were not left out. Media personality Amber Ray sent her love and prayers, while Diana Luvanda and other influencers wished the baby a quick recovery.
Ruth K, whose real name is Ruth Njoki Karegi, shares the child with Mulamwah. The two separated publicly in April 2025 and she is currently focused on her career as a digital creator.
