Renowned Kenyan comedian and content creator, Andrew Oduor, popularly known as 2Mbili, has taken to social media to call upon fellow artists to visit Alfa Mwana Mteule, a content creator known for mimicking DJ Afro, who is allegedly battling the effects of poisoning.
In a heartfelt post on his social media platforms, 2Mbili drew a parallel between the recent participation of artists in Chef Maliha Mohammed’s cooking marathon challenge and the urgent need for solidarity with Alfa Mwana Mteule at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
“Let’s rush to KNH just like we attended Chef Maliha’s cooking challenge. We are losing a brother, Alpha Mwana Mteule, to poison. The poison is slowly taking him down in ward 10b after the facility stopped attending to him,” 2Mbili expressed in his post.
The comedian voiced his disappointment over the lack of support for Alfa Mwana Mteule, emphasizing that no visits had been made, even from those allegedly involved in the poisoning attempt. He highlighted the dire situation, stating, “I was with him at KNH today, and he can’t move any part of his body.”
2Mbili went on to explain that the accumulated hospital bill was a significant barrier to Alfa Mwana Mteule’s treatment, and he criticized the lack of efforts to alleviate the financial burden.
