Veronica Muthoni Njoroge In an exclusive interview with Tuko News, she narrated the hard life encounters she went through after her mother abandoned her.
“Baada ya mama kunifukuza nilijipata na mwanaume nikaenda kwake na, by the way, niliendanga once nikajipata na ball, Nasemanga hakuingiza aliguzisha na nikapata ball.” Veronica narrated.
After getting her first child, life was very difficult for her since the father of the child abandoned her. A friend then linked her to prostitution.
“Nilipatana na beshte aitwaye Jemimah akanionyesha riding ya ukahaba ya kujiuiza.”She said.
In the clubs, Veronica’s main duty was to steal expensive items such as phones from the drunkards so that she could pay her bills.
“Nilipoingia kwa club na kupatana na Mt. Ambaye amelewa kabla ya tuongee napata amelala na mimi huyo nabeba simu pesa.” Veronica said
Her child got sick with a swollen belly and started urinating blood. Veronica was stressed after approaching her mother, who could not offer her any assistance.
The child later died of that condition. Veronica narrates in a sorrowful way that her family could not offer assistance to her to raise the hospital bill.
Veronica was later assisted by her friend, Mama Njambi, who took care of her and gave her a job. She tells people that life has its ups and downs and that we should always be optimistic in facing any challenges we may face.
