Earlier today, famous musician akothee met cabinet secretary for sports and arts ababu namwamba. posting on her social media pages, the mother of five revealed that they shared alot of challenges facing kenyan artists and youths. she stated that the country had alot of wasted talents that could be natured and cultivated.
The musician further revealed that kenyan musicians behaved the way they wanted because they have no leader or an arm that protects or speak on their behalf. she acknowledged that great talents exhisted but eventually gets lost on the way since it’s a world of everyman for themselves.
Akothee advised that everyone should normalize working as a team, support each other with great ideas that will change the industry. she observed that if we put energies to motivate and uplift our arts and sports all the youths making noise will be too busy to throw stones. many will also be too busy to hate and insult others on social media.she concluded by encouraging the CS to make the country busy by engaging the youths in different sectors.
