Controversial Business woman and self-proclaimed president of single mothers, Akothe, has taken to social media to reveal the cause of the bad blood between her and her younger sister.
According to Akothe, her sister had always been her best friend, irrespective of their age difference, until fame broke them apart.
She blames her family for failing to intervene several times, and the wound in her heart grew bigger.
She added that what ‘killed’ her completely was that while battling depression in a hospital for over 6 months, she received information that her sister said she was pretending. Additionally, she says that all this time, her sister never visited her in the hospital.
When they met six months later, during their brother’s wedding, Akothe says her sister said nothing, adding that her brothers tried to mediate. However, Akothe walked out of her brother’s home.
“I waited for my sister to show up and say, Sis, you know what, I’m sorry for all the sorrow I’ve caused. Let’s put the past behind us. However, my family continued pressuring me to be the first to act. I was upset and angry because I wasn’t the one causing the difference,” says Akothe.
Finally, Akothe says that she has publicly forgiven her sister. “She is and will remain my blood,” she concluded.
