Kiambu residents are seeking answers after an accountant went missing after an anti-goverment social media post.
Sources revealed that Samuel Ng’ang’a Mwangi disappeared a few days ago with efforts to trace him yielding no result. Report indicate that Samuel Mwangi who is a father of two was last seen leaving his home to go work along Thika Road. According to his wife Cecilia Mueni, the couple had a brief that morning and thereafter, Ng’ang’a’s phone went anaswered and eventually switched off.
Popular activist Mwabili Mwagodi confirmed that Ng’ang’a was at work the day he vanished. They even met with the HR who also insisted that Samuel was at work that Friday. The family reported the matter at King’eero Police Station. The family revealed that they have searched hospital and mortuary but there are no traces of him.
Ng’ang’a Mwangi has been vocal on social media always criticising the government and often questioning the official practice including a recent incident involving Prison Officers graduation without an official ceremonial dress. The family believes that his disappearance could be linked to his social media posts criticising the government.
The family pleads with anyone with information concerning Samuel Ng’ang’a’s to call them or report the matter to relevant authorities. Police have WhatsApp launched Investigations into the mystery dissapearance.
