Winnie Aketch from Bungoma painfully narrates how her husband cheated on her with different women, when she refused to sleep with him two weeks after giving birth. What was more painful was that he cheated on her with his dead brother’s wife.
Winnie Aketch who was born and raised in Bungoma said that she met her husband in Nairobi where they worked together. He was a security officer while she worked as a waitress. When she met him she fell inlove with his kind heart and calmness and they exchanged phone numbers.
After dating for months they decided to live as husband wife. They relationship was dining great and she got pregnant for her first child. Her husband was supportive through the pregnancy until she gave birth. Two Weeks after having her child her husband demanded for his conjugal rights.
Winnie was hesitant because she had not healed from having a child. She refused to sleep with his and this angered him. Her husband left and never talked about the issue again. However weeks turned to months and her husband never touched her.She suspected that he had an affair and she decided to investigate. She took his phone and decided to go through the text messages. She was shocked to find messages between her husband and different women, whereby they talked about how they explored their fantasies.
“I was in disbelief when I saw countless messages in phone from different women on his phone .” Winnie said.
What pained her more is when she found messages between her husband and his dead brother’s wife. She said that he had planned on marrying her and expanding their family. She was furious when she confronted her husband about the affair.
She was surprised when he told her that it was true and he had the affairs. He claimed that when she refused to sleep with him he went out of marriage to satisfy his desires. He also claimed that he would marry his dead brother’s wife because his traditions had allowed him.She was disappointed and she decided to leave him. She went to her brother’s house where she has been living to date. She has adviced women to take walk away from unfaithful men who do not appreciate them
