Lately, cases of people killing others after finding their partners in an extramarital relationship have been on the rise. In the most recent incident, an officer of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) returned home by surprise and found his wife in the act with a pastor from the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK).
What followed was the outbreak of a tragic event that has left the local community in shock. Witnesses said that when the KDF officer entered his house, he found his wife and the ACK pastor in an intimate session.
Reports indicate that after encountering the ugly scene, the officer was overcome with anger and pain. The officer’s emotions turned into a violent conflict with the priest, which resulted in the cleric’s death.
The commotion drew the neighbours to the scene, where they discovered the lifeless body of the pastor. The eyewitnesses revealed that the officer appeared to be in depression after he found the wife in the compromising act.
Law enforcement quickly intervened, taking the officer into custody and providing his wife with medical treatment after being shocked by the incident. The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the pastor’s death.
While the aggrieved family is looking for comfort and understanding, they await the results of the investigation in the hope that justice will be served accordingly.
