In a shocking twist to what was initially believed to be a high-stakes political abduction, Koimburi’s personal assistant Karanja Gatana has confessed to dropping the allegedly kidnapped Member of Parliament at a hotel.
Gatana who was driving a Honda CRV belonging to Juja CDF chairman Peter Kiratu revealed that the MP had refreshments and spent the night at the hotel in the company of two men involved in the alleged abduction on May 25 2025.
According to the confession, the following day Gatana used Kiratu’s vehicle to pick up the MP from the hotel and drove him to a pre-selected location. Before exiting the vehicle, the MP allegedly changed into torn clothes to fake signs of torture.
This startling revelation now raises serious questions about the authenticity of the abduction claims and the MP’s possible role in orchestrating the incident.
