American model and television personality Amber Rose is currently in Kenya, fueling speculation that Nairobi may be featured in the upcoming African edition of the reality TV series, Baddies Africa.
Rose arrived quietly in the country, accompanied by fellow cast members and executives from the Zeus Network.
Shortly after landing, she shared several Instagram stories showcasing her time in Nairobi, including a dramatic video of her cruising through the city streets in a convoy of high-end black SUVs.
Her first public appearance was in Kibera, one of Nairobi’s most densely populated informal settlements, where she received a heartfelt welcome from local children. The children performed poems, songs, and dances for the visiting group, capturing the attention of her global fanbase online.
In one especially emotional moment, the children recited:
“We are Kibera and we want to change Kibera. We don’t have the slum mentality, but we have the champion mentality. With God, all things are possible,” she posted.
An evidently moved Amber Rose responded with encouragement, telling them, “That was so sweet. Never give up.”
Rose’s visit is closely linked to the upcoming launch of ‘Baddies Africa’, the seventh season of the popular Zeus Network reality show Baddies, which is set to premiere on May 11. The season will span several African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Morocco.
Also present in Kenya is Zeus Network President and CEO Lemuel Plummer, along with reality TV star Natalie Nunn, who has been seen alongside Rose throughout the visit. Nunn shared her own glimpses of Kibera, posting a video of local street scenes and a photo of roasted maize (“mahindi choma”) cooking on a traditional jiko.
While the show’s producers have not officially confirmed whether Kenya will feature in the upcoming season, the presence of key cast members and network executives suggests the visit may be tied to promotional filming or future tour locations.
The Baddies Africa edition is expected to feature a star-studded cast including Amber Rose, Yung Miami, Saucy Santana, and Natalie Nunn, as the show expands its footprint across the continent.
