Kenyan singer and businesswoman Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, recently shared a poignant tribute to her late parents, showcasing the luxurious house and cars she gifted them before their passing.

On April 18, 2025, the “Oyoyo” hitmaker posted on social media, offering a glimpse into the opulent gestures that reflected her deep gratitude and love for her parents, who played a pivotal role in her journey from humble beginnings to stardom.

Akothee, born in Kisumu County and raised in Migori, has often spoken about her challenging upbringing, including eloping at 14 and facing hardships as a young mother. Despite these struggles, her parents an administrator father and politician mother remained a source of inspiration.
