Police in Uthiru are investigating an incident where a group of suspects were caught in their church allegedly conducting bizarre prayers.
The church is believed to be teaching doctrines of American Christian minister and faith healer William Marrion Branham.
In a news report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that the sleuths acted after being informed about the incident by Residents
Branham, who died in 1965, is claimed to have initiated post World War II healing revival and was allegedly a prophet with the anointing of Elijah of the old testament Bible.
According to the reports given by the police, it has been reported that members of this Church have been having been getting intimate in Church.
“On arrival, there was an iron sheet structure church with no sign post to identify it as a church. Inside the church worshippers were found led by Deacon namely David Kariuki who was arrested for operating an unregistered church,” said the police in a statement.
This is happening at the same time when President William Ruto ordered police to arrest all rogue preachers in different parts of the country after Renowned pastor Paul MacKenzie allegedly convinced his followers to fast to death.
The police say the church started operating in Kenya in 2009 and has branches in Ruiru, Ongata Rongai, Nakuru and Molo.
Police found the worshippers confined in the church and who their leader is suspected to be running an unregistered and suspected cultic church somewhere else.
According to the reports given by President William Ruto, he claimed that the government is going to deal with rogue suspects regardless of where they hide like pastor Paul MacKenzie who he said hid behind religion.
