Citizen television journalist Jay Bonyo has alleged that he spoke to somebody who was part of the team that was capturing the events at the drama festival, in Nakuru and added that he has information that “Echoes of War” was not the only play that cleopas had directed.
The former Kakamega senator is being accused of directing a play that seemingly did not sit well with the powers that be. The play depicts the Kenyan society and the injustices that are currently happening, and also happend last year especially during the Gen Z led protests.
Jay Bonyo says that his man confided in him that the Kakamega senator had allegedly directed up to six different plays, only that he had inserted different names in the other plays. Special interest was on Butere because his name comes out as the director and script writer. He furthers on that the other plays reportedly bearing the names of other people as producers or directors hard more lethal messaging and themes, as compared to the one for Butere Girls high school.
Journalist Jay Bonyo during the session at citizen television said that may be the problem is Cleopas malala and not Butere girls. However, these are just allegations that are not yet substituted and until then, they are just his own personal opinions.
