At least 50 students were evacuated from a collapsing building. This threatening incident occurred in Thogoto residential area in Kikuyu. The students mostly do their studies inthe university of Nairobi and the Presbyterian university.
The students were forced to vacate from the building which was threatening to endanger their innocent lives. According to a video footage showcasing the incident, the county officials from Kiambu county are now searching fro the owner of the building.
It said even security agencies have started hunting the buildings owners since the building was posing a serious threat to the tenants.
After this life threatening incident, the Kiambu county officials and security agencies are now on the lookout for the building that could be posing a threat to Kenyans. It is said that the county officials have began a thorough inspection towards all buildings in that county.
They want to assure Kenyans of the buildings safety to stay in. They will ensure each building complies with the safety standards for construction. Serious action will be taken against the one building owner found guilty.
