Margaret who is an apostle and a founder of several churches in Kenya narrated how her husband left her and never wanted to associate with her again the day he paid her dowry.
According to her,she met her husband and after a few months of dating they started living together as husband and wife in the year 2008.After four years,they decided to go pay her dowry.
They left their home together with other inlaws and the dowry ceremony went on well until when her husband and the in laws went in a separate house to band over the money they had carried to pay her dowry.
She waited happily for them to finish hoping that their family will thrive after acquiring blessings from her parents but that didn’t happen. When her husband got out of the house,he told her that it was over between them.
According to her,she thought it was a joke until they arrived home. Her husband moved in another bedroom and when she tried to enquire what had happened ,he did not answer her.
One month later her hands started swelling and was unable to work.Her husband packed his clothes and left and from that day she has never set an eye on him.She went back home and was asked to buy 2 goats that were slaughtered and some traditions were performed to cleanse her.She got healed and many years later she got married through a church wedding.
