Babu Owino is a youthful Kenyan politician and an academician. He is the former SONU president in the University of Nairobi, where he graduated from.
The vocal City politician is the currently serving Embakasi East Constituency Member of Parliament having been elected during the hotly contested August 2022 general elections through the Orange Democratic Movement Party ticket.
Of late, Hon Babu Owino has been distancing himself from the former second Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and ODM, more so, after he signed a Memorandum of Understanding with president Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance Party.
Hon Babu Owino has taken his aim at Homa Bay Town Constituency Member of Parliament Hon George Kaluma as he publicly mocks him.
According to his post on X, Hon Babu Owino told Hon Kaluma that he is a mathematical dwarf and that he should concentrate on gossiping and leave maths issue to academic giants.
