Former Cabinet Secretary for Public service Hon. Justin Bedan Muturi. He was caught in between to answer a question about one His Excellency President William Samoei Arap Ruto being corrupt.

In an Exclusive Interview with a local media station. Muturi tried to escape the question, but finally responded to the question by alleging that Ruto is a very corrupt leader.

“Yes the President is Corrupt. And indeed very corrupt. And I have very many Examples to mention.” Asserted Justin Muturi

Like any government, Ruto’s administration has faced allegations involving some of its officials. Critics have pointed to issues such as potential misuse of public resources, corruption in government contracts, and procurement deals.

The opposition and watchdog groups have called for transparency and accountability, urging the government to take action against any officials found guilty of corrupt practices.

There have been reports of investigations into certain high-profile figures within the government, but as of now, many of these remain either under investigation or without conclusive evidence. This has raised questions about the effectiveness of anti-corruption mechanisms in Kenya.

Public perception of corruption can vary, with some seeing Ruto’s administration as making strides in addressing the issue, while others believe that little has been done to dismantle entrenched corruption networks.

The government’s response to allegations and whether it takes decisive actions against corrupt individuals remains a critical area of scrutiny.

President Ruto has often spoken against corruption, pledging to root out the vice in his government. However, critics argue that while rhetoric is strong, the actions on the ground have not always matched the promises.

Some believe that Ruto’s anti-corruption policies are still in their early stages and may take time to fully materialize.
