Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has reacted to a viral video showing her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, with another woman.

The video, which has been circulating online, shows Shakib dressed in black and standing under a tree while talking to a young woman in a maroon strapless dress.

The lady notices they are being filmed and signals Shakib, leaving many wondering if he was cheating.

Shakib has strongly denied the cheating claims, saying the video is old and was posted by someone trying to damage his reputation. He took to his Instagram story to clear the air.

“Please disregard the old video of me circulating on social media.

It is outdated and being shared with malicious intent by a blogger attempting to tarnish my reputation and relationships,” he wrote.

Despite his statement, social media users continued to speculate about the situation, with some believing that the video was recent.

Zari, who is currently observing Ramadan, addressed the issue on social media.

Instead of directly defending or accusing her husband, she expressed her feelings about how men often treat women.

“Men will leave you in the desert with no water,” she posted.

Her words suggested that she felt disappointed, but she did not confirm whether she believed the cheating claims.

This is not the first time Zari and Shakib’s marriage has faced public scrutiny.

Recently, Zari revealed that she was tired of paying all their bills and questioned what Shakib was contributing to the marriage.

Her statement sparked debate online, with many wondering if their relationship was on shaky ground.

Additionally, Zari has openly admitted that she prefers a long-distance marriage.

She explained that staying apart helps keep the excitement alive whenever Shakib visits her in South Africa.

However, critics argue that this could be a sign of deeper problems in their relationship.

The video has drawn mixed reactions from fans. Some advised Zari to focus on her peace, while others questioned Shakib’s loyalty.

“It’s better to accept Allah’s decision and leave everything to the Almighty,” one user commented.

Another person added, “Like they say, never think you’re the only one. I learned the hard way.”
