Mark Kibet, a student from Kapsabet Boys High School, has made history with his exceptional performance in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
Kibet scored an impressive plain A with 84 points, excelling in every subject he sat for. His remarkable achievement has put Kapsabet Boys on the map and inspired many students across the country.
The Education Cabinet Secretary, Julius Amigos Ogamba, announced the much-anticipated results at Mitihani House.
During the announcement, Ogamba revealed that at least 1,693 students across the country scored straight A’s in the 2024 KCSE exams.
This year, the exams were highly competitive, with students working hard to secure top grades. Among them was Mark Kibet, who was one of the shining stars from Kapsabet Boys.
Kibet’s performance is even more impressive as he scored an A in every subject, a feat that has earned him praise from both his school and the larger community.
His dedication to his studies and consistent hard work throughout the years has clearly paid off, and he now stands as a role model for other students aspiring to achieve similar success.
Kapsabet Boys High School has continued to impress in the 2024 KCSE results, with several other students also performing excellently.
For example, Karithi Timothy, Eugene Mburu, Castro Williams, and Brian Otucho all scored plain A’s with 84 points, showing the strong academic culture within the school.
Despite the challenges faced by many students this year, including technical issues with the Kenya National Examination Council’s (KNEC) website, Kibet and his peers were able to celebrate their achievements.
KNEC reported a surge in requests that slowed down their online system, but that did not dampen the spirits of the students or their families.
