According to today’s publication, former Ruto’s DP Rigathi Gachagua is having no rest following details of meetings that have been held at his rural home in Nyeri ahead of next year’s major political announcements.
This latest revelation is happening on the backdrop of a recent interview where he revealed that he is in constant talks with other like-minded leaders to form a mega alliance.
According to the sources the former deputy president has been holding several meetings at his rural area where several of his allies have been attending ahead of the major announcement which is expected to shake up the political land escape in the country.
Among the individuals who have been mentioned as attending the meetings include businessmen and influential leaders from the region who are likely to support the comeback of the former deputy president who was impeached by his boss William Ruto through Parliament.
During a recent interview the former deputy president revealed that he is in constant communication with other political players from different parts of the region where he will be joining hands with some of them to unseat the head of state President William ruto during the next general election.
Some of the political players who are likely to join are they former deputy president include azimio bigwigs who include Kalonzo Musyoka and Eugene wamalwa.
President William ruto has in recent days been seen to lose popularity in the mountain after the recent development where his deputy who hails from the region was impeached
