Mumias East Member of Parliament, Peter Salasya, has officially joined the growing list of people making money through popular online platforms. Salasya recently revealed that his YouTube channel, Salasya TV, has begun generating income, encouraging his followers to subscribe and help him increase his earnings.
“My Salasya TV YouTube channel is now making dollars. So I can make money out of comedy? Subscribe to my channel so we can enjoy this YouTube money together,” an excited Salasya shared.
Known for his unconventional approach to leadership and his humorous online presence, Salasya has garnered both praise and criticism for his social media activity, which contrasts with the traditional image of Kenyan politicians. He first gained national attention after being elected as the MP for Mumias East.
As of now, Salasya TV has 8,659 subscribers and has accumulated over 170,000 views in the past 28 days. In terms of revenue, the MP has earned $43.44 (approximately Ksh5,647) during that period.
