One act of kindness has caused a Kenyan woman to fall in love with a stranger she met inside a matatu in Nairobi. Winjoy Kananu is seeking for the good man who paid her bus fare and hopes to find him soon to express her gratitude. She admits that they could be soulmates, as she occasionally pays bus fare to unexpected individuals.
The businesswoman, Winjoy Kananu, described how the man sitting next to her in the matatu respectfully requested if he may pay her fare, and she obliged. The generous gesture prompted her to accompany the guy to Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD), as she was too embarrassed to request her phone number.
“Today, a complete stranger paid my matatu fare. He held a thousand Kenyan shillings and asked if he could pay my fare.
“I almost failed to alight at my stop in Ngara to follow him so that we spend the balance,”she added. Winjoy is now hunting for this compassionate man, believing that he could be her soulmate. “I was too shy to ask for his phone number; I feel like a complete failure. Perhaps he is my missing rib. “If you are the man who paid my fare, please contact me,” she asked.
