In a disturbing situation, a 34-year-old banker was found dead in the midst of violence in Nakuru County.

The victim, Mueni Mwalimu, an employee at the Cooperative Bank Nakuru Branch, left work unexpectedly last Tuesday after informing his manager that he needed to take his son to the hospital.

Reports indicate extensive injuries, including severe burns to the head and face and missing ears and thumbs. His wallet and personal documents were found scattered at the crime scene.
Her husband, Mr. Mureithi, expressed shock and sadness, revealing that their last phone interaction was about her plans to visit a pharmacy to buy medicine.
He noted that Mueni had not shown any signs of stress or fear before his departure and that he had no known conflicts with his colleagues. Donnata Otieno, head of the Rongai Criminal Investigation Directorate, confirmed that a full investigation is underway.
The body of the deceased has been moved to the PNN Funeral Home for inspection while police work to find out what led to the violent death.
