Pastor Elizabeth Mokoro of the Seventh Day Adventist Church has advised women who prevent their children from meeting and knowing their fathers after the end of a relationship.According to Mokoro, children will eventually meet their fathers one day, and thus, women should stop lying to their children by saying their fathers are dead when they are still alive.

“You have a child, and I know the father hurt you, but stop lying to them that their father is dead. One day they will meet,” Pastor Mokoro said.

However, the pastor explained that she did not receive blessings from her biological father, even though she advises women to take their children to their fathers.

“Some of us did not receive blessings from our fathers. Your mother raised you, but go and reconnect with your father. Seek out your father,” Mokoro advised.

The pastor continued by saying that no woman has any authority to bless her child.”No woman has the authority to bless a child. None!” Pastor Mokoro said.

A few weeks ago, the Seventh Day Adventist Church reversed its decision to suspend four religious leaders from their pulpits.

These changes came after significant online debates and public complaints following the initial suspensions.

Pastor Elizabeth Mokoro, Kenneth Maina, Evangelist Shaban Ndege, Evangelist Millicent Odhiambo, and Evangelist Lantena were among the people scheduled to be dismissed.

On July 4, SDA Kenya Field Coast issued a notice prohibiting these individuals from serving in their branches.

The order, signed by Executive Secretary Pastor Eliab Ombuoro, instructed church members not to offer these leaders any opportunities to minister within or outside the SDA Kenya Coast area.
