Soccer fans mainly from two big football clubs in the country took to social media to roast a soccer player for allegedly describing the two clubs as “small teams”.
The fans have hit out on the player for being too big headed due to his good performance in the just ended campaign. They took to his Facebook wall with all manner of abuses, taunting him over his remarks.

The player who recently earned a national team call-up after a stellar performance in the league angered the fans after he dismissed the teams. “I cannot tell where I will be next year because I still have a contract here, but I if I choose to move, it will not be to Gor or Ingwe. I will go to bigger club,” the player had said in an earlier interview sparking ire from the fans.
Some fans cautioned the player to be humble and work hard to develop his career instead of being arrogant. “It is unfortunate and a bad example for budding players. He has just had a good season and arrogance has colonised his head,” one fan fumed.
The player has however dismissed the fans terming them busybodies. “It is not bad to love their teams, but they cannot force others to feel the same way,” he said. Some fans have told the player to apologise for belittling their clubs failure to which he will never know peace during matches pitting his teams against the two.
“He must apologise or wait for boos and jeers next season,” a fan told Offside.
