Kenyan model-cum-actress Maureen Wangare alias Brenda has revealed that she will be gracing the screens soon again, after landing a role in a new project.
The sassy mother of one shared the big news with her fans through a Q&A session that she recently had with them.
When one curious follower asked Brenda about when she was going to make a TV comeback, she answered back by saying that it would be soon.
The former Maria series actress also shared a snippet of the new project, and what was clear is that she was in it as shown below.
However she never revealed the name of the project.
In the same engagement, Maureen Wangare disclosed that she had to get some temporary tattoos because of the new role in the show.
This was after a fan inquired about the number of tattoos that she currently had, and in her response she said:
“Honestly I have none. This one’s are for an upcoming show. They are temporary 🙈🙈🙈”.
This is actually the first time that the mother of one will be gracing the screens as an actress, after she featured in the hit series dubbed Maria.
The hit Telenovela show used to air at the Royal Media Services-owned station from 2019 upto March 2021 when it ended.
In the show Maureen Wangare played the character Brenda, who was an evil lady whose broken heart sought revenge from a family of a man, who refused to love her back.
It should be noted that after the show ended in 2021, the sassy queen ventured into other things.
She infact continued with her modelling career and further also launched her own business dubbed The Meat Box Ke, that deals with selling meat.
Maureen Wangare’s modelling career
As mentioned above, Maureen Wangare was a model before she ventured into acting.
Well she had a successful career as a model, that saw her crowned as Miss Intercontinental Kenya in 2019 and Miss Tourism Kenya in 2018.
