Head of State His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto announced the immediate abolition of all taxes levied on doors, hinges, and windows in a press release dated today, May 11, 2023.
The Kenyan Government explained that the measure was seriously encouraged to protect Kenyans from the growing expense of living, which was the key driver for the admirable removal of all taxes levied on the aforementioned construction supplies.
Just a few hours ago, the Star News paper posted this after President William Ruto ordered these items to be removed from tax.
Now, like Kenyans, we commend our president, William Ruto, for doing this, and we have hope that in the next few months, a large number of commodities will reduce their prices.
