Registrar of Societies Jane Joram has delivered bad news to Pastor Ezekiel over his failure to adhere to the laws of church registration. According to the registrar, the church has not been able to file tax returns since it’s inception yet it’s a requirement in law.
This is a huge blow to Pastor Ezekiel given the Attorney General Justin Muturi has also threatened to have Pastor Ezekiel Church closed for going against the law. The issues that affecting Pastor Ezekiel are so immense that it will take a miracle for him to overcome.
What started as investigations around what’s happening in Shakahola has turned into a case against his wealth. It’s notable that the bank accounts of the pastor have already been closed. The government is again fighting hard to ensure that he doesn’t succeed in his efforts to continue preaching.
It’s obvious that once a licence has been cancelled, the pastor cannot continue to operate his church. If this challenges on his wealth will see Ezekiel punished by law, let’s wait and see.
