In an emotional letter to Samwel Muchoki alias Samidoh, the frustrated wife of the Kikuyu Benga musician says she is not prepared to raise her children in a polygamous family.
Since the time they were married fifteen years ago, Edday claims she has persisted. Although life has not been easy, she has stayed by him when they were in need, but during the past three years, he has changed.
She claims that over the course of the last three years, her life has dramatically changed, and despite her loyalty, she has faced abuse on social networking sites.
Edday goes on to claim that she has prayed for Samidoh to alter his conduct, but that she has reached her breaking point and has begun to blame her husband’s mistress for her problems.
“Especially with a woman who is more than ten years my senior, I will not raise my children in a polygamous family.” Edday composed.
