Kenya’s Gospel music industry fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of loss of one of them Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa.
According to the sad news reaching our media airwaves, Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa, the famous artist behind the “Sala zangu zote naelekeza kwako we Mungu wangu (All my prayers I dedicate them to You my God)” has gone to be with the Lord after ailing for some time. Ilagosa who hails from Kakamega county is reported to have succumbed to the illness after being hospitalized for two months.
His early departure is thus a great loss not only to musicians but also to all netizens whose songs have impacted their lives. Listening to one of his other trending songs “Kemea Shetani Na Maombi (Rebuke the Devil with Prayers)”, he has taught many how to pray and how to prayer as the only weapon to fight the Devil. Ilagosa has indeed truly impacted many lives and having fulfilled his earthly mission, he is now rejoicing with the Lord.
Many of his followers have taken their media timelines to express their grief as they mourn departed dedicated gospel musician.
