Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is one of the leaders who toured Siaya county to condole with the family of the late Education CS Professor George Magoha. The former Vice President was accompanied by other leaders, especially from the past administration.
While delivering his speech to mourners, Kalonzo Musyoka pledged his allegiance to the retired President Uhuru Kenyatta saying that he is his legitimate president. Kalonzo Musyoka showered Uhuru Kenyatta with praises for nominating George Magoha to serve as the Education CS.
Also in the meeting, former Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiangi pledged his allegiance to President Uhuru Kenyatta while criticizing the current administration accusing it of tribalism and making noise which is not helping Kenyan citizens.
During the Kamukunji rally, the Azimio la Umoja coalition which Kalonzo Musyoka belongs said that it does not recognize President Ruto and his appointments. Raila reiterated his sentiments during the Jacaranda rally.
Also after the elections, President Uhuru pledged his allegiance to Raila Odinga saying that he recognizes him as his legitimate President.
