Kenyans are currently undergoing tough economic times. Hence, any move by the Government or politicians is being scrutinized with a keen eye, to ensure that there is no monkey business involved.
Former Kiss100 radio presenter Jalango, has recently found himself on the receiving end of criticism from some of his fans after he revealed details about a program meant to feed people in Karen. Karen on its own is an affluent estate with most of its residents having deep pockets and living lavishly.
Hence, some fans noted that Jalas’ project was questionable, especially given the fact that Karen borders the Huruma estate which could use the food donations. One fan, in particular, clashed with Jalas noting that the MP was living lavishly while Kenyans we’re suffering on the ground.
He went on to ask when Jalas would help the youth grow their businesses and get employment like he promised during the campaign period. However, Jalas remarked that he youth already had a good business as a designer and he needed to promote the business not ridicule it. Ken Sartorial: We voted for you as Langata constituents.
“We are young unemployed youths. You just enjoy life, what about us? The fan questioned. Jalas: Shida yako ni kudharau kazi yako. Sasa ona wewe ni designer mkali na bado unadharau kazi yako. The MP remarked.
