Drama has today been witnessed at the chambers where the public hearing for the removal of the four IEBC commissioners was being conducted. This is after a team of Azimio members of parliament and lawyers decided that it was enough for them and stormed out leaving the chairman and other members allied to Kenya Kwanza behind.
Some of the led lawyers who representing the embattled commissioners included Danstan Omari, Donald Kipkorir among many others while the legislators were the likes of Junet Mohammed, TJ Kajwang and Opiyo Wandayi.
Before storming out a disagreement happened surrounding the manner in which the case at hand was going to be heard and resolved, the seemingly agitated individuals had something to say to those they left in the chamber.
“I have a choice but my choice in this committee must be respected. We cannot participate in this committee proceeding,” Suna East MP Junet Mohammed was heard saying.
