Jacky Matubia popularly known as Nana in the former Zora series has narrated what matters to her in a relationship. She first explained to her fans how her first date was.
She said that her Fiance Blessing Lungaho took her to a chicken inn on their first date. They ordered the food they wanted and went to eat it inside a car. They later had a good conversation with her Fiance. For her,the food didn’t matter at all but the precious conversation they had.
“Men here break banks and we do not even care, for us it’s just about the conversation but different people with different love languages,” she said.
She went ahead and said that Kenyan men are not romantic. They do fail to understand the love language of their partners that mainly they always concentrate on things that can’t add value to a relationship.
“Kenyan men are zero, romance outside the window. It’s not romantic or your everyday kind of date but this is what we used to do with Blessing. On our first date we went to chicken Inn got our food and went to the car and just ate and chilled for like around 1:00 a.m,” she said.
She added that she prefers spending quality time with someone other than being given gifts or taken out for expensive dates because those are not her love language.
“I may not be a gifts person or a flower person.I might counsel you as a potential person just because you came with a bouquet of rose flowers. They don’t mean anything to me,” she added.
For her she says she didn’t even want to have a wedding because it was just so unnecessary due to so many expenses. She would rather use the money to pay school fees rather than organising for an expensive wedding.
The two got engaged a few months ago.
